As can be found on the homepage, and below, a poll to see whether the community is interested in the translation of the novel has been started.

Over the last year (2017), at least two sites/teams started translating, and, regrettably, both have failed. One took their translation down, the other site no longer exists. So I propose that we start a translation project, here, on the Id wiki.

To begin, we would probably need two translations: one literal translation and another being a liberal translation. The literal translation being the Word for Word translation with the goal of loosing the least amount of meaning in the translation. The liberal translation would have a goal of taking the literal and adding flare to make up for that which was lost during translation.

I don't know if the novels have well defined chapters, so, I don't know if the translations will be on a chapter by chapter basis. Or, if they will end up being compiled on one page.... The end result may look like Baka-Tsuki's formatting...

Also, translation pages will be protected; only registered users will be able to edit them. Anonymous users my still contribute by leaving comments with the editor or in the discussion page.

If editors have strong translating differences, to avoid editing wars, it is highly recommended that they post their own versions via blog.
